PRESIDENT

Mr. Szumilas is the founder of Polaris Funding Group (formerly R.W.S. Mortgage).  He was previously co-owner of Principal Funding Group, and has been in the mortgage industry for 8 years.

He is also the owner of Polaris Insurance, specializing in auto, home, and commercial lines of insurance.

Mr. Szumilas received his Bachelors of Science in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

He is a father to his daughter, Isabella, as well as a guitarist with a love of classical spanish guitar, an avid ballroom dancer with his wife, Monika, and enjoys long-distance running. 

Mr. Szumilas is fluent in Polish.
